In an article from Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, Road and Traffic Administration (RTA) in Cagayan de Oro City enforcers captured 2 drivers and a motorcyclist who violated the Anti-Driving Distracted Law.
Two PUJ drivers and a motorcyclist were arrested by the authorities after they tried to call or text drive while driving.
According to LTO Regional Director Oscar Salcedo, the cars of the first two violators have not been impounded but he assured that they will pay the penalty not less than 5,000.
The LTO conducted a “tokhang” activity to RTA enforcers who are not aware of the newly implemented Anti-Driving Distracted Act or Republic Act 10913.
