Military acquired New Tech to teach basic computer skills in far flung communities

In a ceremonial blessing last November 28, the 4th Infantry Division (4ID) presented its recently acquired Mobile Computer Laboratory (MCL) which is one of the products of Civil-Military Operations Group of the Philippine Army which are intended for Computer Literacy learning in far flung communities.

Through the Pinoy Batang Bayani (PBB) Program with the Tuloy Foundation, Inc. (TFI), the MCL, which was started last June 2013, was realized aimed to reach far flung communities most especially the Out-of-School-Youth (OSY) and the Indigenous Peoples (IPs).

Worth P4 million, the computer laboratory is settled in a 40-footer fully air-conditioned container van with 21 high technology computers, gadgets, and other equipment installed that are intended for Basic Computer Literacy learning.
