According to the chairman of the Police Regional Appellate Board of Napolcom-Northern Mindanao, Lawyer Robert Lou Elango, a pre-charge evaluation was done and found a probable cause to charge the accused policemen for grave misconduct.

An eyewitness was also presented before the court at the hearing last June 13, face-to-face with the accused individuals.

On June 22, there will be an ocular inspection in the crime scene to check the position of the eye witness when the incident of kidnapping happened.

As of this writing, the accused are currently detained at the Barangay Lumbia city jail. If proved guilty, the police officers will be booted out from service.
