92 Families Lost Homes During A Fire Incident In CdeO

92 Families Lost Homes During A Fire Incident In CdeO

In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, a total of 40 residences were affected by the fire incident which occurred last October 12 around Barangay 26 and 22 in Cagayan de Oro City.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection Central Deputy Marshall Fire, Insp. Arnulfo Nabua, the initial investigation said that the fire started at the residence of a certain Simmi Caeril.

On the other hand, while some are still upset about their situation resulting from the fire,  a woman named as Karen Llagas said that some of their ‘saved-belongings’ were stolen while they were still trying to retrieve other of their things inside of their burning house.

As of this writing, further investigation has been done by authorities to know the cause of the fire resulting in a total of P1.6 million structural damages.

Also, the 92 affected families were evacuated to the basketball court of the barangay and to Corrales Elementary School.
