In a report from ABS-CBN News, in order to fortify country’s claim, the Armed Forces of the Philippines will occupy all PH islands in South China Sea as ordered by President Rodrigo Duterte last Thursday, April 6.

Duterte further added that structures and the Philippine flag will rise in the islands. He said that he plans on visiting the Pag-asa Island (one of the islands that belong to the Philippines) on Independence Day, June 12, to raise the Philippine flag himself.

Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said that the President has ordered renovation and repair of the facilities in Pag-asa Island so that we can go there anytime.

Philippines will file a complaint against China’s installation of radar station on Scarborough Shoal said Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre.

It can be recalled that China’s claim has been invalidated by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in The Hague last year.
