After winning in a double’s tennis bout in Hong Kong last June, Kagay-anon Tennis player Francis Casey Alcantara will be flying to Australia to compete in a four-legged Futures tennis tour covering Alice Springs (Sept.18-24), Brisbane (Sept. 25-Oct.1), Toowoomba (Oct. 2-8), and Cairns (Oct. 9-15).
In an article from Philippine Canadian Inquirer, the Australian tournaments are part of the International Tennis Federation schedule of events.
As a member of the Philippine Davis Cup Team, Alcantara is hoping to be successful in his upcoming fight so that he could gain more credits to boost his world rankings.
To date, Alcantara ranks at No. 364 for his recent four doubles titles while his Singles ranking is at No. 763.
