Following the events of multiple sea creature found in Surigao, Cagayan de Oro and recently Dinagat Island, another mysterious and rare sea creature was found washed ashore in Romblon. The rare sea creature was that of a Manta Ray which is largely known as being endangered.

This rare sighting was captured by Francine Foja, a student in Barangay Tabing Dagat, Odiongan along with her friends as they were strolling near the shores.

According to reports from Romblonews.net, they thought the thing was a piece of rock and as they were getting closer they noticed that it was a sea creature.

The manta ray was dead and was oozing with a foul smell. The manta ray is an endangered specie known as the “gentle giant.”
