The implementation of 5 new dismissal orders filed against incumbent Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno was stopped through a 15-page Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO) from the Court of Appeals received by Moreno’s office last Monday, September 25.
In an article published by Rappler.com, the TRO, signed by Associate Justice Louis P. Alcantara, provides a 60-day freeze of the effectivity of the dismissal orders which stemmed from the alleged involvement of Moreno of in a road project equipment rental anomaly when he was still the governor of the province of Misamis Oriental.
The 5 dismissal cases are among the 48 cases filed initiated by PaDayon Pilipino against the Mayor.
It can be remembered that a previous dismissal order was served to Moreno regarding his supposed participation in an unauthorized tax settlement agreement with Ajinomoto Philippines in 2013.
A 60-day Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) was released by the Court of Appeals (CA) to stop the implementation of 5 new dismissal orders served to incumbent Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno.
