CdeO Announces Summer Exchange Program to USA for High School Students

Source: Cagayan de Oro City Philippines FB Page

If you’re a high school student of any institution in Cagayan de Oro City who wants to experience summer abroad, you may want to apply to the Cagayan de Oro-Norfolk High School Student Summer Visitor Exchange Program.

This is a combined initiative by Cagayan de Oro City and Norfolk City, Virginia, USA to strengthen the sister city relationship signed on June 18, 2008. As some of us may remember, this resolution was signed by former Mayor Constantino Jaraula and Paul D. Fraim of Norfolk.

This exchange student program aims to bring the youth from both cities closer with the help of a memorable and educational summer activity. The high school students will stay with “host siblings” to improve their interpersonal skills and cultivate lifelong friendships.

Note: Download the application kit from CdeO’s website.
