01 Feb CdeO to Build P60 Million Parking Facility in Divisoria

The City Government of Cagayan de Oro will soon build a 4-story parking building at Divisoria. This is said to aim at reducing the congestion of vehicles in the area that will ultimately help the entire city.
According to the Philippine News Agency, City Engineer Rolando Pacuribot said that the project will be funded by the local and national government with the help of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
Based on initial research, to create this four-deck four-deck structure, the city needs an estimated cost of P60 million. If the needed requirements are met, the construction will possibly start this year.
Furthermore, Pacuribot added that Senate President Aquilino Martin Pimentel III has also committed to helping seek for additional funding. He explained that the city government could not afford to finance the project on its own.
