31 Aug Cdeo Government Gives Financial And Business Assistance To Waste-Pickers
In an article from Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, nearly 400 students who are residing at the open-dumpsite of Upper Dagong, Carmen, received educational financial assistance from the City Government of Cagayan de Oro City.
The students consisted of elementary pupils, high school, and senior high school students were assisted by the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD) through CSWD officer Teddy Sabuga-a.
The students extended their gratitude for being chosen as recipients of the financial assistance which serves as a great help in their studies.
The City Government also helped those who graduated from the city’s culinary skills training program through TESDA in putting up their own cooking business in the form of a financial assistance.
