In an article from Manilatimes.com, aviation giant Cebu Pacific launched new routes in Mindanao particularly in Cagayan de Oro-Zamboanga and Davao-Tacloban areas last week. The aviation company said that the new routes have begun flying four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
According to the aviation company, Mindanao still proves to be a prime location for more economic opportunities and has the potential for improvements in terms of strengthening of cultural and family ties.
Cebu Pacific Vice President for Cargo Operations Alex Reyes said that the new addition to the company’s flight routes is also a strategic move to allow the convenient exchange of intra-island flight connections and kickstart the production of more infrastructure projects in Mindanao.
Zamboanga City Administrator Angelique Go said that the new routes will help the tourism industry and will encourage more businesses to invest more in the country.
