COCPO Reports A Few Crimes During All Souls Day And All Saints Day

In an article posted by Sunstar.com, the Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) said that there were just a few crimes and untoward incidents reported during the observation of the All Saints and All Souls Day.

According to the COCPO Spokesperson Chief Inspector Mardy Hortillosa II that one of the incidences that happened was a robbery at the house in Montana Vista, Gran Europa by unidentified culprits who ran off with a TV set and assorted watches amounting to P150,000 around 01:00 PM last Wednesday.

Investigators found out that the suspects entered the house by bending after they the window grill but authorities are yet to determine how they escaped with the presence of security personnel surrounding the area.

In one hand, a pad in Barangay Nazareth was also robbed by unidentified individuals who stole a television and shoes amounting to P30,000 around 11:00 PM of last Wednesday.

Hortillosa said that perhaps the owner of the houses visited the cemetery when the incident happened.

In one occasion, a motorist was arrested at a checkpoint along Tablon Highway after he was caught carrying an improvised handgun.

The motorist was identified as Allan Olinan, a resident of Camp Evangelista, Barangay Patag, who failed to present his papers for registration.
