COCPO tightens security in preparation for the ASEAN Summit this July



In an article from Bombo Radyo CDeO, Cagayan de Oro Police Officers will strictly implement security for the upcoming ASEAN summit leaders meeting in the city this coming July 2017.

COCPO spokesperson C/Insp. Mardy Hortillosa said that police officials will concentrate on the possibility of a terrorist attack that will bring violence in the city since it is near Bohol Province which was attacked by the Abu Sayyaf.

President Rodrigo Duterte offers P1 million reward money who can point out the terrorists who escaped from the battle in Bohol.

It was found out that more or less 150 delegates will attend the ASEAN summit meeting in the city.
