13 Dec DOH Aims Zero Firework Related Injuries This Season
As part of their annual efforts, the Department of Health (DOH) targets zero injuries of Region 10’s citizens in the upcoming celebration of Christmas and the New Year.
In an article by Bombo Radyo DOH Education Promotion Officer 3 Nur Ian Caridad said that they are going to implement “Oplan Iwas Paputok” with other government agencies on December 19.
Caridad stated that residents should avoid using fireworks and find alternative ways to celebrate this season.
Furthermore, note that in recent reports, City Mayor Oscar Moreno already expressed that he’s against the ban on firecrackers since some of this is allowed by law.
