07 Dec ‘High Value Target’ Arrested in Drug Buy-Bust in Barangay Macabalan, 170K-Worth of Shabu Seized
Last December 6, 2016, Tuesday, in a drug buy-bust operation conducted in Piaping Puti in Barangay Macabalan here in Cagayan de Oro, Rolly Sarno, 39, was arrested.
Considered a “high-value target” by the police due to alleged large-scale drug peddling, Sarno operates in several barangays in the city and was even reported to threaten drug runners prompting them to pay on time.
Seized from Sarno were 4 large sachets of suspected shabu estimated to worth P170,000, a caliber .22 revolver with ammunition, and P1,000 drug buy-bust money.
The suspect will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
