In a drug buy-and-bust operation conducted at Barangay Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro City on January 10, Tuesday night, two suspected drug pushers who supposedly delivers illegal drugs in public areas were apprehended.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, authorities said that the two suspects were known drug pushers in the city. They have also identified the suspects as Erlinda de Leon and her common-law husband Jhonny Canedo.
It was said that De Leon and Canedo meet and deliver illegal drugs to their clients in public spaces like malls and parks.
Four sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or commonly known as shabu with an estimated street value of P3,500 were recovered by the authorities from the suspects.
De Leon and Canedo refused to give a comment on their alleged delivery of illegal drugs in the city.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against De Leon and Canedo.
