5 Drug Suspects were Arrested at Brgy. Camaman-an, Shabu and Marijuana worth P335K Confiscated

Following the drug buy-and-bust operations conducted at Tipolohon, Barangay Camaman-an, Cagayan de Oro, about 67 grams with an estimated street value of P335,000 of illegal drugs including suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or commonly known as “shabu” was confiscated on January 20, Friday.

According to Sun.Star Superbalita, based on the recorded information from Police Station 2 at Cogon, the arrested suspect was identified as Arnel Ybañez, 49 years old, married and is a resident of the said place.

Ybañez was caught selling illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia was recovered from him during the drug bust operation.

Police Station 2 Chief Gilbert Rollen and Deputy Station Commander Jhonny Agutaya lead the buy-bust operation which arrested Ybañez.

Other three suspects identified as Michael Abas, 36 years old, from Kiliog, Bukidnon, Randy Ministerio, 30 years old, from Kinawi, Bukidnon and Junie Mandayanon, 28 years old, who lives with his partner at Buntong, Camaman-an, CDO were also arrested.

Two sachets of suspected shabu from Abas, other two sachets of shabu from Ministerio and a package of dried marijuana leaves from Mandayanon were confiscated.

Meanwhile, another operation was also conducted which arrested a drug syndicate identified as Jefferson Galarpe alias “Epok”, 22 years old, from Adela, Barangay Camaman-an.

10 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P50,000 was confiscated from Galarpe.

The suspects are currently detained at the police station.
