source: Philippine News

The profiling of the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Cagayan de Oro ended yesterday, July 5.

In an article from Cagayan de Oro News Bulletin, the disaster family access cards which will be given out to and will serve as the basis for providing assistance from the local and national government to the profiled IDPs  has already ended yesterday.

CSWD Officer Teddy Sabuga-a said that the agency found out there are one hundred plus IDPs whose names were duplicated.

As a solution, he announced that the first list should be canceled in order to refine the official list.

On the other hand, IDPs officially identified by the DSWD who have not yet received assistance from the agency will also be given the same amount of P5,000 when they go back to their original residences in Marawi City.

As of this writing, there are a total of 15, 000 individuals who are currently occupying 40 evacuation centers in Cagayan de Oro City.
