16 Dec Duterte Forbes’ 70th Most Powerful People in the World
President Rodrigo Roa Duterte was included in the list of the Most Powerful People in the World today. According to Forbes, the Philippine President is considered as the 70th Powerful Person just 3 places behind Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who was in the 66th place.
Topping the Forbes Most Powerful list are:
- Vladimir Putin (Russia)
- Donald Trump (United States)
- Angela Merkel (Germany)
- Xi Jinping (China)
- Pope Francis (Roman Catholic Church)
- Janet Yellen (United States)
- Bill Gates (Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation)
- Larry Page (Alphabet)
- Narenda Modi (India)
- Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook)
Aside from Duterte, other leaders who made it to the list were Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe (37th); North Korean President Kim Jong-Un (43rd); US President Barack Obama (48th); and Mexico’s President Enrique Pena Nieto (54th).
“There are nearly 7.4 billion humans on planet Earth, but these 74 men and women make the world turn. Forbes‘annual ranking of the World’s Most Powerful People identifies one person out of every 100 million whose actions mean the most,” the magazine said.
