FastCat fast crafts going to and from Camiguin and Bohol will be docking temporarily at the pier in Opol, Misamis Oriental starting this December 16, 2017.

In an article from Sunstar PH, since the port is the Municipality’s fish landing, they needed to make an ordinance pursuing the use of the port as a docking area for FastCat passengers.

FastCat has been providing safe, fast and convenient ferry transport system for passengers and cargo with international standards. Since 2002, it has become a trusted shipping company that owns and operates the Philippines’ first and only catamaran Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) ferries, as well as modernized ports and terminals in the eastern and western Philippine sea route.

Opol serving as FastCat’s landing port will surely boost the tourism of the municipality and create greater employment opportunities for its residents.

It was also revealed that as long as FastCat completes the requirements and gain their permit, it can immediately start accommodating passengers this December.
