25 May CdeO Civil Society Groups gather to show solidarity for Marawi city

In an article from GMA News, civil society groups from Cagayan de Oro and Manila converged to show their support to the residents in Marawi City who are now in turmoil after a band of terrorist occupy the city last Tuesday.
The President has already declared Martial Law for 60 days in Mindanao after the terrorist group burned down houses and other infrastructure and apparently occupied city hall.
Groups from Kadamay, Piston, Bayan, Kabataan, and Vendors’ Association gathered at Cogon Market in Cagayan de Oro to light candles and opposed the declaration of Martial Law.
People from Manila also held a similar activity in front of Minor Basilica, Black Nazarene, Quiapo, Manila.
