29 Nov The Hero Of Initao: PSMS Jason Magno
Mga higala! Police Senior Master Sergeant Jason Magno is now being lauded for bravely saving others from a GRENADE explosion that occurred inside the Initao College of Misamis Oriental!
ICYDK, a man with a grenade ran amok in the said school yesterday, November 28, and Magno was one of the police officers who responded to the commotion he created at around 11:00 am.
The grenade was dropped when they tried to disarm the suspect and Magno ran towards the explosive to try and throw it away. But, when he realized it was already too late, he covered it with his body to contain its blast and save innocent lives.
The explosion blew off his hands and inflicted severe injuries all over his body.
PSMS Jason Magno was then declared dead after being brought to a hospital.
