05 Dec Injured Police Officer Receive MisOr’s Appreciation

Due to his bravery in the recent NPA attack, an injured officer received the “Medalya ng Sugatang Magiting” and an unspecified amount of cash as a reward. This occurred when PNP Regional Director C/Supt. Timoteo Pacleb visited the hospital they were admitted to.
The said officer is PO3 Alberto Bernadas, one of the 4 brave Binuangan police officers that were injured by grenade shrapnel from an M203 Rifle.
Bernadas believes that this is their second chance in life because he can’t fathom how they survived an attack from over a hundred NPA members.
He is also glad for all the training they had because it helped them overcome the situation and prevent the rebels from stealing all their weapons.
Furthermore, C/Supt. Pacleb said that the PNP will cover all their medical expenses and shall reward them with a vacation when they get discharged.
