19 Sep Investors Pledge To Adopt Filipino Inventions In Technology Transfer Day 2017

In an article posted by pia.gov.ph, some investors who attended Mindanao Regional Technology Transfer Day 2017 at Xavier Estates Sports and Country Club, Cagayan de Oro have pledged to adopt some of the creations display made by local inventors.
According to the Regional Director of the Department of Science and Technology Region-10 (DOST-10) Alfonso P. Alamban, 48 term sheets were signed by both tech generators and adoptors at the end of the one-day event last September 8, 2017.
The term sheets contained the expressed interest of investors to arrange and commit in adopting their chosen inventions.
Techno Transfer Day hastened the shortened the process of a two or months’ process of negotiations between adoptors and inventors since it allowed all parties to meet and get down to business in one place.
This year’s Techno Transfer Day-Mindanao brought together selected 750 participants wherein selection happened based on pre-event interest from potential investors along with their relevance in the Philippine context.
