03 Jul Some Kagay-anon fans dismayed over Pacquiao vs Horn fight
In an article from Sun Star News website, some Kagay-anon fans were dismayed with the result of the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jeff Horn fight, yesterday, July 2, at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, Australia.
The newly-crowned WBO welterweight champion Jeff Horn won after all scores from the judges resulted in a unanimous decision in favor to him. Judge Waleska Roldan scored 117-111, while Chris Flores and Ramon Cerdan had similar 115-113 scores.
Upon watching the fight’s live telecast, some CdeO locals were disappointed with the results and some were even hoping that the decision is wrong and will change after a few moments.
The 29-year old Jeff Horn now has 17 wins, 0 loss and 1 draw with 11 knockouts recorded while Pacquiao has 59 wins, 7 loss, 2 draws with 38 knockouts.
After the fight, Pacquiao wished to have a rematch with the Australian boxer citing stipulations in the contract clause of the Battle of Brisbane.
