10 Oct “Kubal Drug Group” Members Arrested In CdeO

In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the Martial Law Special Action Force arrested three members of the notorious “Kubal Drug Group” in Barangay Bulua, Cagayan de Oro yesterday, October 9.
The suspects were identified as Rico Bacon, 53 years old and businessman, with his wife Mary Ann Bacon, 50 years old, who were said to own a business. Also arrested was Rico Bacon’s brother in law, Virgilio “Jun-Jun” Toledo.
Through a court order, agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Northern Mindanao and MLSAG raid and searched the house of the couple in Apovel Subdivision, Bulua.
During the operation, operatives recovered nine packs of shabu weighing 45 grams, two cellphone units, two Honda Motorcycle units, one 9 mm pistol caliber, and two hand grenade.
The suspects will face charges under Article II of RA 9165 or “Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002″ and RA 10591 o “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act”.
