22 May Liceo Dragonoids snatch multiple gold medals in 4th Bugsay Mindanao Dragon Boat Race

The Liceo Dragonoids of Cagayan de Oro City were hailed as the overall Champion in the 4th Bugsay Mindanao Dragon Boat Race titled “Bugsay Mindanao IV, Paddle for Peace”, last May 21, 2017.
Last Friday, May 19, Bugsay Mindanao had its grand opening off the waters of the Mabua Stone Beach in Surigao.
In an article from Manila Bulletin, the dragon boat race was a three-day competition to showcase the thrill of dragon boat paddling with teams coming from the different parts of the country.
The competition was joined by the Saltwater Dragons from Tacloban City; Base Camp Dragon Boat Team, Dragons del Sur and Kampilan from the Davao region; Liceo Dragonoids from Cagayan de Oro City; Team Bakunawa from Iligan City; San Luis Dragons of Agusan del Sur; FSUU Blue Dragons from Butuan City; and Bugsay Marajao of Surigao City.
The Liceo Dragonoids won the following categories:
Gold on 2000 meters women category
Gold on 200 meters women category
Gold on 200 meters mixed category
Bronze on 2000 meters open category
