Mga higala! After months of negotiations, LIMKETKAI SONS INC. finally approved the proposed drainage system of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) that will help prevent flooding along C.M. Recto Avenue.

According to Sunstar CDO, Limketkai has agreed to allow the digging inside their compound, to connect the Agora drainage to Bitan-ag creek through the Limketkai drive.

Limketkai and DPWH have signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) last Friday, February 8, to proceed with the project.

However, Limketkai has set certain conditions. One of these is the construction of a single-barrel box culvert instead of a double-barrel design.
