20 Dec LTFRB-10 Warns Taxi Drivers and Operators in CDO

This holiday season the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board implemented the “Oplan Snabero” with the Region 10 Land Transporation Office.
This program aims to remind taxi drivers and operators from unjustly choosing their passengers during this Christmas and the New Year.
LTFRB Regional Director Allan Guro stated that they will punish operators and confiscate the license of taxi drivers who will be caught ignoring other commuters.
Meanwhile, the LTFRB also wants to remind bus companies in Region 10 that there must be 2 drivers per bus especially if traveling to far destinations in Mindanao. And each driver must be relieved after operating for 6 hours.
Any of these infractions committed by taxi and bus drivers will result in penalties that will most likely end their jobs.
