09 Feb Man Who Allegedly Raped a Teenage Girl was Arrested at Brgy. Calaanan

A 43-year-old man from Barangay Calaanan, Cagayan de Oro City was apprehended as he allegedly raped a 12-year-old girl last year, 2016.
According to a report from ABS-CBN News, elements from the Detective Management Desk of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office apprehended a certain Roy Villanueva.
It was said that Villanueva hid for months in his mother’s residence but was finally arrested after the police received reports from neighbors.
The suspect has also denied the allegation saying that he only gave food to the victim and her stepmother began to accuse him of rape.
Villanueva will be charged with four counts of rape.
