08 Sep Government Implements Strict Security For MinBizCon 2017
In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, military and police officers are providing full security during the three-day 26th Mindanao Business Conference (MinBizCon) at the Xavier Estates Country Club, Brgy Balulang, Cagayan de Oro City which started today (September 8).
According to the Oro Chambers of Commerce President Robert Pizzaro, the event focuses on the economic situation in Mindanao, especially it is currently under the President’s declaration of Martial Law.
He also said that President Rodrigo Duterte will be gracing the event, as well as the other ambassadors from China, Russia, and entrepreneurs from Europe.
PNP Regional spokesperson Supt. Lemuel Gonda assured that full security will be implemented during the three-day affair as well as surrounding areas.
800 to 1,000 delegates are expected to attend the event.
