MisOr Spends P4 Million for Kuyamis Festival

In an article by Sunstar CDO, the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental is said to spend P4 million and more for the Kuyamis Festival celebrating the 88th founding anniversary of the province.

The celebration started yesterday, January 8, filled with a lot of fanfares and activities. And will end on Friday, January 12.

This festival is the brainchild of Governor Yevgeny Emano which he gave life when he assumed office in the year 2013.

The festival’s activities will include street dancing and other competitions, such as dance, agri-tourism booth, culinary and cooking demonstrations and sports events.

Furthermore, Kuyamis Festival will highlight the promotion of province’s wonders. And show off its local produce under the One-town-on-product (Otop) program.
