There will be another major development in the uplands of Carmen and Balulang that is near SM City and Xavier University backed by the returning developer Johndorf Ventures Corp. (JVC) to open new homes for economic to middle-class families. Called Montierra Subdivision, it was introduced to some 300 brokers and agents through a recent gathering at Mallberry Suites as it got the license to sell (LTS) from HLURB or Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board.

The said Montierra is a master-planned residential community having a commercial hub settling on a 7.5-hectare property and features two-storey contemporary Asian townhouses with car ports that are being enclosed by an 18-meter high perimeter fence and has a grand 15-meter wide entrance as said by CEO Richard Lim.

According to him, an amount of P600M was allocated by JVC for the said project which was part of the P2 billion capital outlay for five years that began in 2013.

“We are happy that our LTS came just in time when enthusiasm has gone high among our partner sellers,” said  JVC sales and marketing manager Michele Chiu-Bacungan.

According to her, the company is to officially launch the said project within next month April at the site in Panginuman, Upper Balulang near what was Lumbia airport which is just a few meters ahead from Rosevale School. A special event will also be held. But before the launching, a pre-selling activity will occur on April 8 still at Mallberry Suites.

She added by quoting, “Montierra is for value-driven homeowners who aspire for a livable community, especially start-up families and overseas Filipino workers who have gained some degree of economic freedom,” and that, “it is built for professionals and entrepreneurs who seek for a meaningful life, those who venture into challenges if only to achieve it, even crossing seas and enduring storms.”

To be priced at P2.8 million to P3 million, Bacungan pointed out that owning a home at Montierra fulfills a family’s dream.

Montierra is being boasted by Johndorf as the only economic housing project in Mindanao that will provide residents amenities and facilities almost akin to a mid-to-high end subdivision which is a new trademark by the company. The said amenities and facilities include the use of a grand clubhouse with a spacious swimming pool, beautifully landscaped parks and playgrounds, jogging trail and basketball court.
