06 Nov Moreno Asks Extension for Reading of His Graft Case

In an article from Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, supporters of incumbent Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno have high hopes that the mayor will be acquitted of the graft cases he is facing before the Sandiganbayan.
This is after the reading of the complaint for Moreno has been rescheduled to January 9, 2018, from October 26, 2017, after the mayor’s lawyer, Atty. Dale Brian Mordeno, appealed to give them a little more time while applying for a motion to quash information for the said case.
The case stemmed from a complaint filed by Barangay Puntod Captain Pinky Beja where she questioned Moreno and other city hall department heads for releasing P70,000 in payment for the rent of a boxing facility in 2013.
