In an article posted by Sunstar.com, the City Mayor of Cagayan de Oro Oscar Moreno has defended his proposed P5.8 billion budget for 2018.

He added that budget will be the blueprint of his administration’s plan. When he created the budget, he made sure that the city will be better than it is today by building more schools, medical facilities, concrete roads, and establishment that will improve the Kagay-anons current situation in life.

The P5.8 budget will be divided into two funds, the General Fund which will be allocated P5,382,396,280 and the Special Account with the amount of P417,603,720.

Moreover, the deliberation of the budget has started.

From the past years of Moreno’s administration, this proposed budget is the biggest as of now.
