In an article posted by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, Ms. Cagayan de Oro 2016 and Ms. Philippines Earth candidate- Sherlyn Doloriel brought pride and honor to Cagayan de Oro City and the province of Misamis Oriental as she stood out and became the newly crowned Ms. Scuba Philippines 2017.
The coronation night of the pageant happened last night, October 10, at the Plaza Atrium, Resorts World, Manila where Doloriel who represented Misamis Oriental beat 14 other candidates.
Doloriel, a licensed scuba diver of the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), was also awarded as Darling of the Press, Ms. Marine Conservation, Face of Belmont and Ms. Zensest during the competition.
After winning the competition in the Philippines, she will be representing the country in the upcoming Miss Scuba International in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia on November 18, 2017, wherein she has at least one month to prepare for the pageant.
Doloriel is very optimistic for the next competition where she will be bringing her advocacy in protecting the environment and promoting tourism not only in the province of Misamis Oriental but in the whole Philippines with the support of the Misamis Oriental Government.
