More than just a celebration of beauty and brains, Atty. Jeffrey Saclot of Misamis Oriental’s Tourism Department of shared that the Miss Kuyamis Pageant’s goal is to find the Queen who has the passionate heart to continuously promote Misamis Oriental’s tourist attractions.
An everyday battle of the twenty lovely candidates to promote every municipality of Misamis Oriental.
As we all know Misamis Oriental houses the excellent beaches of Initao, lush mountains of Mt. Sumagaya, refreshing falls of Gingoog City, the historical Macahambus Hill Cave of Cagayan de Oro City, the exhilarating water rafting at Cagayan river. These and other exciting sites await every local citizen and tourist.

And as Kuyamis Festival 2018 ends its week-long celebration, Misamis Oriental has crowned its new Tourism Ambassadress- thru Miss Tagoloan, Ana Monica Tan.
