The officers who went through the surprised drug test have ranks from the members of the command group, directorial staffs, chiefs of the National Administrative Support Units (NASUs) and National Operational Support Units (NOSUs).

PRO Northern Mindanao Spokesperson Superintendent Lemuel Gonda said that the drug test is part of the aim of the police offices to identify and weed out their members who are into the prohibited use of illegal drugs and those who are involved in the illegal drugs trade.

He also said those officers who will be tested positive after a week’s wait for the result of the drug test will dismissed from his/her post.

Gonda emphasized that PRO Northern Mindanao wants its policemen to be of integrity and unsullied reputation while still in service.
