NPA Takes Responsibility For The Death Of An Infant In The Recent Bukidnon Ambush

In an article posted by Interaksyon New 5, the New People’s Army (NPA) asked for forgiveness from the family of the 4-month old infant who died on the ambush in Talakag Bukidnon last November 9.

The NPA admitted that the baby was accidentally involved in the incident since their private car was following a police vehicle when the rebels ambushed them.

The family of the baby is riding a Toyota Fortuner with policemen and were traveling on Talakag-Bumbaran Road when the ambush happened.

Further, there were two killed in the ambush, the baby and a Police Officer identified as SPO3 Arnel Carillo.

Others were wounded, two police officers identified as Police Chief Joven Acuista and SPO1 Pacifico Cabudoy and PO1 Nathaniel Ibal, and the civilians were Sittie Ali, 53; Ali Aminsalam, 37 who were from Kili-kili, Wao, and Alexander Maniscan.
