25 May Miss Cagayan de Oro 2017 released all final candidates vying for the crown

Miss Cagayan de Oro is an annual beauty pageant in celebration of the city’s Higalaay Festival, a celebration to honor Cagayan de Oro’s patron saint St. Augustine which is held every August.
As the pageant comes close the Miss Cagayan de Oro organizers started to reveal its official candidates last May 22, 2017 and just yesterday the list was completed. If you haven’t seen the complete list yet, we listed them all up for you.
The complete list of the official candidates for Miss Cagayan de Oro 2017 and their respective Barangays:
Charissa Kay Panes – Barangay Carmen
Suzanne Martil – Barangay Tablon
Shekinah Julia Salcedo – Barangay Balulang
Alex Patriana – Barangay Gusa
Sermae Angela Pascual – Barangay Carmen
Jaymee Hana Padilla – Barangay Balulang
Marianne Grace Serenuela – Barangay Bulua
Glysa Jay Basay – Barangay Kausawagan

Miss Cagayan de Oro is not only a pageant of beauties from different barangays but it is also a celebration of women that aims to empower the young and beautiful Kagay-anon women to be a person of knowledge and awareness.
Just like every pageant, the reigning Miss Cagayan de Oro is tasked to promote the city’s culture and values thru community services and the like.
