After 10 years of repose, Kagay-anon Karatedo martial artist Michael Pabillore has made a victorious comeback as he topped all his contenders in the 1st Mayor’s Cup Invitational Karatedo Championship in Malaybalay City last Sunday, June 18.

In an article from Sunstar.com, Pabillore, who comes from a known family of Karatedo champions, snatched a pair of gold and silver medals in the Kumite and Kata divisions respectively.

Pabillore, including his aunt Marna who is a former international Karatedo champion and his cousin Jacob, were trained under his aunt Victoria Pabillore’s karate association.

He said that his recent feat in the local Karatedo martial arts scene has been inspired by his partner Jhoana and current sensei (mentor) Gerson Labininay who became his new trainer after the retirement of his aunt Victoria.
