Philippine Coast Guard rescues 10 people on a sinking boat off Camiguin shores

In an article from Bomboradyo.com, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) Sub-Station Camiguin rescued 10 people including one US national from a sinking boat on the shores of Camiguin.

PCG Sub-Station Camiguin Commander Benjie Quinesio said that US national Phillip Cortez was one of the rescued people. Two from mainland Mindanao, Jocel Queenie Valmorida from Misamis Oriental and Lester Ibarra from Bukidnon, were also found by the PCG.

Kinoguitan Mayor Junjun Lagbas said that one fisherman named Julito Ke-e saved four from the group near Binuangan, Misamis Oriental’s part of the beach.

Among the other rescued are Lawrence Abastas, Jocel Jane Valmorida, Greggy Roa, Minda Asequia, Edwin Oser Dia Oca.
