21 Jun Members of “Sarumay Drug Criminal Group” Captured in Davao del Norte, Fifth Most Wanted Person in South Cotabato Seized
Afternoon of June 15, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Director Victor Deona said that alleged members of the “Sarumay Drug Criminal Group” Norman Gubat Bastasa, 35, Ranel Lanticse Bregente, 34, and Jernan Catarenin Bolibol, 26, were captured by agents of his units from Davao del Norte office, the Highway Patrol Group, Maritime Group an Panabo City police station. Jhondy Villanueva, 18, who happened to be at the site and considered a “visitor” was also arrested.
Six sachets of suspected “shabu” or methamphetamine hydrochloride, an amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a motorcycle with defaced license plates and marked money were zeized from the suspects.
Still on the same day, drug suspect Ronel Boctil alias “Alo” who is known to be the fifth wanted person in South Cotabato were captured by the CIDG of the said town and police in Norala.
