19 Jul Seda Centrio Welcomes New Hotel Manager
July 18, 2016 – Cagayan de Oro City – Seda Centrio Hotel – Cagayan de Oro City’s premier 4-star hotel, will soon be welcoming its new hotel manager, Mr. Armand Angeles, when he takes over the reins of running the Seda Centrio.
About the New Seda Centrio Hotel Manager
Mr. Angeles is no stranger to Seda Hotels’ hospitality system, being in several managerial positions in since October of 2012. He started out as a Night Manager at the Seda Bonifacio Global City when he pioneered with the pre-opening team. In July 2013 he was offered the position of Front Office Manager at the same hotel. With higher management taking notice of his great people skills, he was moved to Seda Nuvali to become the hotel’s Front Office Manager in January 2014. In March of 2016 he was named OIC-Hotel Manager for the same hotel.
Mr. Armand Angeles
Mr. Angeles was one of those who helped train employees and setting up the facilities at the Seda Nuvali and Seda Centrio. He has a BA degree in Business Management from Napier University in Scotland, UK. Before coming to work for Ayala Seda Hotels, he worked at the Bonham Hotel in Edinburgh, Scotland, UK, as food and beverage associate, receptionist, and duty manager.
According to Mr. Angeles, he admits that in his younger years he thought that “he was born for the hospitality industry” and wanted to be a chef and open his new restaurant. However, he realized that the pull of the kitchen wasn’t as strong as the pull of the hotel and hospitality industry, and this is what led him to be employed in the industry.
Furthermore, he also said that he finds people at the Seda Centrio, and Kagay-anons in general, to be so warm and friendly, and that the city really does live up to its moniker for “golden friendship.” With his dedication to people skills, efficient customer service, and generally for running things, he hopes to meet the challenge of keeping Seda Centrio on top as Cagayan de Oro’s premier business hotel destination.
About Seda Centrio Hotel
Ayalaland’s Seda Centrio Hotel is named as such in the tradition of all Seda Hotels located beside the Ayala Mall that shares its given name as well. Seda Centrio is the 2nd property to open and is owned and managed by AyalaLand Hotels and Resorts Corporation.
The Seda Centrio is Cagayan de Oro’s first and only 4-star hotel. It is located at the corner of Corrales Avenue and C.M. Recto Highway beside the Ayala Centrio Mall.
