Targeted to be completed this year, Seven Seas Waterpark and Resort- a world-class theme park- located in Barra, Opol is currently being constructed. Backyard Tornado Slide and other multiple adventure slides are expected to be enjoyed among Kagay-anons and tourists soon to be offered right in this said waterpark.

This Backyard Tornado Slide, that may seem similar with other foreign rides, will take you on a wild ride like going through the eye of a storm. Imagine you journey which will start from a high platform (of about 12m), then will have you blasted down to a huge log tunnel spinning around the Tornado’s funnel in a two or four person clover-leaf tube, swirling up and down the sides, before dashing through the eye of the storm to the calm waters below. This scenario is being expected but might not be the actual and is yet to be confirmed when the waterpark is open for the public.

Aside from the Backyard Tornado Slide, there are also major attractions people- kids and adults- can enjoy:
*1,000 sq.m. Aqua Playhouse Pool
*1,100 sq.m. “Slow River Ride”
*2,500 square meter (sq.m.) water combo wave pool
*12 meter high water slide towers and splash pools
*1,200 sq.m. Events Tent
*300 sq.m. Children’s Pool

This is a great opportunity for the province and of the City of Cagayan de Oro to boost tourism.
