27 Sep SMS Girls Futsal Team To Compete In The CdeO Division Meet

In an article posted by Sunstar.com.ph, the Girl’s Futsal Team of St. Mary’s School will be competing in the upcoming Cagayan de Oro City Division Meet after defending their overall championship title for the fourth time in the South District Futsal which concluded last September 23.
According to SMS Girls Futsal Team Coach Weng de Riarte, their victory happened through the collective efforts and dedication of the girls during their regular practices as members of the Higala Football Club.
The team defeated several school in the city such as Corpus Christi High School, Cagayan de oro National High School, and Christian Grace High School during the DepEd-organized sports event at the Xavier High School uptown gym.
The members of the SMS Girls Futsal Team are Frances Caroline Acelo, Gail Leanne Loking, Karen Macaraeg, Chantal Van Ommeren, Chavonne Uy, Jessi Barnido, Andrea Cabactulan, Faye Margella Ramirez, Weng Dela Riarte (Head Coach, and Paul Cabio (Coach).
