08 Mar Taxi new flagdown rate at P30 which was approved by LTFRB
Commuters will now enjoy a much lower taxi flagdown rate starting March 19. The Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) just approved the new taxi flagdown rate which is P30.
Said adjustment will also reduce the flagdown rate of airport taxis from P70 to P60.
New taxi flagdown rate was decided because of lower fuel prices. Passengers will be paying less for more distance. Before commuters paying P3.50 per 300 meters will not be equivalent to 500 meters.
