Storm Urduja Continues to Affect Mindanao

In an article by bomboradyo.com, thousands of residents were alarmed by the sudden rise of water levels in Mindanao due to Storm Urduja, especially in the province of Misamis Oriental.

Several residential areas such as Lagonglong, Balingasag, Claveria, and Tagoloan are already flooded.

Misamis Oriental PDRRMD Head Fernando “Sotsot” Dy Jr. stated that motorists should take extra precaution when traveling to and from the city going to Caraga Region. One of this route’s main access- the Balingasag Musi-musi bridge’s foundation has been weakened.

Mindanaoans have been warned to be alert for any possible developments until Urduja passes through the Philippines.
