WMRI to give more relief goods to Marawi victims

In an article posted by ManilaStandars.Net, the World Medical Relief Incorporation is sending medicines and equipment as a help in the recovery of Marawi City.

According to the President of World Medical Relief Inc. George Samson, the $10 to $15 million worth of medicines and equipment will be sent through 20-ft high containers t and will arrive soon in November of this year.

Samson said that each container will contain equipment such as X-rays, cardiac monitors, operating-room materials, surgical tools, beds and medicines that are worth $500,000 each.

The shipment of these materials will be facilitated by the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp., and everything will go directly to the hospitals in the affected areas of Mindanao.

The World Medical Relief Incorporation was founded by Irene Auberlin in 1953. It is a charitable non-profit organization based in Detroit, Michigan that helps victims of disasters, wars and calamities worldwide needing of medical supplies.
